HAVEN holidays will be splashing out £2.3million to upgrade the pool facilities at Weymouth Bay Holiday Park. 

 

Park chiefs are hoping that the makeover will increase bookings for later this year which are already up 13 per cent on last year as the UK holiday boom continues. 

 

As well as a makeover for the pool area, a new Lazy River water ride will be built to go both indoors and outdoors. 

 

General manager of the park Darren Hollis said: “A lot of people have been taking advantage of early booking offers and compared with this time last year our bookings for our holiday parks in the south including Weymouth are up 13 per cent. 

 

“This underlines the strength of the British holiday industry and confirms our confidence in traditional resorts such as Weymouth. 

 

“The investment will also help us keep our position as Britain’s favourite seaside holiday.” 

 

As well as providing family holidays, Weymouth Bay is also a popular destination for families and couples looking to buy a holiday home in attractive surroundings with easy access to the beach, the Jurassic Coast and Weymouth’s visitor attractions.

the result was a sussess with a pvc shutter above the waterline and a coustm built grill useing lazor cut 316 componets below this project
